Class Content and Themes

  • I teach that birth is a natural and normal experience.
  • Birth happens every day, and women are created with the ability to give birth, it is not something to be feared.
  • My class focuses on natural labor techniques through relaxation and regular abdominal breathing. A relaxed body experiences less pain, less fear, and can reduce complications. 
  • Everyone has different desires in labor and it's in this class that you learn what works for you personally and all your birth choices/options.
  • Natural childbirth is a beautiful and normal experience and something that is doable with the proper skills. Natural birth can be empowering and rewarding for both parents. 
  • Teach the parents how to be active participants in their child’s birth and how to advocate for their desires and navigate through the medical system and choices. 
  • Focus on the importance of the coach and ways for them to support the birthing parent through all parts of labor, through physical, emotional and mental relaxation techniques.


Class Fee is $475 ($100 retainer to hold your spot in class)

If finances are an issue please contact me and we will work something out. Payment plans are available with prior arrangements. 

I am a Certified Bradley Doula and my services for labor support is available to all those who take the class.

My students have access to an extensive lending library of books and videos to encourage deeper understanding of birth and babies.

The Bradley Method® of Natural Childbirth standard series is designed for small classes with lots of individual attention. The standard length of the classes is 12 weeks covering 12 units of instruction. The Official Student Workbook is supplied to every couple attending classes. It is 130 pages with over 75 pictures and illustrations. A Coach Card is also included. Your local instructor in The Bradley Method® of Natural Childbirth is an independent affiliated instructor. Some classes are video enriched and offer a Certificate of Congratulations.
