About Me

For as long as I can remember I’ve had a passion for pregnancy, childbirth, babies and parenting.  I knew that becoming a Bradley instructor was a commitment I wanted to make when I was taking my Bradley class pregnant with my first child.  Three years later I was able fulfill that goal and have been teaching Bradley classes and attending births since 2004.

I have been married since 1996 and have three wonderful children.  Each birth was a natural, Bradley birth--two in the hospital and one at home.  I have experience birthing under the care of an OB, a family practice physician and a midwife.  I have attended births both at the hospital and at home.  Birthing my own children, teaching classes and attending births provides me with insight and knowledge that I love to share with my students.

A Few Thoughts on Birth

Women were designed to give birth. When a mother opens herself up to the natural process, educates herself, and surrounds herself with those that believe in her ability she will find a power within herself she never knew she had.  Natural childbirth is empowering and beautiful.  It is a privilege to help couples and their babies along the path to joyous childbirth.

The Bradley Method® of Natural Childbirth standard series is designed for small classes with lots of individual attention. The standard length of the classes is 12 weeks covering 12 units of instruction. The Official Student Workbook is supplied to every couple attending classes. It is 130 pages with over 75 pictures and illustrations. A Coach Card is also included. Your local instructor in The Bradley Method® of Natural Childbirth is an independent affiliated instructor. Some classes are video enriched and offer a Certificate of Congratulations.
