Classes will be held on Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm, and last 2 to 2 1/2 hours. We will meet in Tempe on Southern Ave. just east of the 101. Please contact me for the address.
Each class focuses on a specific topic, and includes discussion about nutrition, exercise during pregnancy, and a relaxation practice. Most classes incorporate a video. Topics covered in class include healthy nutrition in pregnancy, exercises to help prepare you for labor, what happens during a normal pregnancy and labor, how your body works and how to work with your body in labor, the coach’s role, positions and comfort measures to help reduce pain in labor, your options in pregnancy and labor, including the risks and benefits of each, breastfeeding, and more!
