My private classes include access to the 12 Bradley classes online, that will be supplemented Hybrid style. I will be teaching five in-person classes which includes four 2hr. classes one 3hr. labor rehearsal class. The in-person classes will cover the content of the the twelve classes 1/2, 3/4, 5/6&9/10, 7/8, and 11/12. Classes inlcude an opportunity to hear birth stories first hand from Bradley alumni Moms and Dads! A few months after the babies arrive, we will have Bradley reunion to welcome them and share the stories of their births!
Vernon, CT sets in the crossroads of Tolland/Bolton is about 25min. from the Mass boarder. Located right off of the US 84 just 10-20 minutes from Somers, Ellington, Manchester, East Hartford, Mansfield/Storrs (UConn), Coventry, and Hebron.

The Family Birthing Center is located at Manchester Memorial Hospital 71 Haynes Street, Manchester, CT
I will be teaching a traditional twelve class Bradley series over the course of nine in person classes. These classes will be run through ECHN's Manchester Memorial Hospital at the Family Birthing Center in the childbirth education classroom on the first floor. Classes are open to all, regardless of birthing location. Class cost is $325. You must register through the ECHN website https://www.echn.org/services/maternity/support-and-educational-resources/ or call (860) 647-4790.

Please contact me directly for class fees for private classes. I offer various options and package deals based on the services you are requesting and the location of your classes. In order to secure your spot in class and register you online a $100 non-refundable registration fee will be collected upon registration of class. Various payment options available. Please bring cash or check payment balance (written to Shelley Snyder) to the first class. Credit card payment is also excepted with an additional service charge. Payment plans are available, but must be arranged before or at time of registration. The latest edition of The Bradley Method® Student Workbook is included along with lending privilege of the textbook, Natural Childbirth the Bradley Way and includes full access to my vast birth library. Students may be eligible for reimbursement through their health insurance plans, tax-exempt medical Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or payment can be made by Health Savings Account (HSA) credit card.

What if I am not 100% sure about having a natural birth?
You’re still welcome to take Bradley classes! It is totally normal to have a little anxiety before the baby arrives. Bradley Method classes focus on staying low-risk during pregnancy. The healthier you are, the more options you'll have for your delivery. Your body will be better prepared no matter how you choose give birth...and you'll likely recover faster, too!
Fathers-to-be don’t have it much easier. They hear stories from their friends and co-workers, many of them misinformed or negative, and it’s hard to know what to expect. . When they are honest with themselves, they wonder if they will have what it takes to be good coach. The founder of the Bradley Method, Dr. Robert Bradley, was considered a radical in his time for his advocacy of fathers being present in the delivery room. He knew that, with proper training, dads-to-be make the best coaches, as they have one huge advantage over others trying to soothe a woman in labor -- Love!
